BOOK "EDUCATIONAL LEGAL RELATIONS IN HIGHER SCHOOL OF UKRAINE IN QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS"

In 2013, the East-Ukrainian Foundation for Social Research with financial support from the International Renaissance Foundation carried out the project "Higher School of Ukraine: Monitoring Mechanisms of Functioning" within the "Rule of Law" educational program. One of the results of the project was a book "Educational Legal Relations in Higher School of Ukraine in Questions and Answers", which summarizes the results of the research and other types of work performed within the project. The book contains information about the most typical cases of right violation of participants in the educational process, but also provides useful information about the possibility of protecting these rights. While working on the textbook the authors have identified features of the legal status of the participants of educational relations; special attention was paid to the legal regulation of those aspects of educational relations, which, in the opinion of the participants of educational relations (on the results of the poll), are problematic, and that are faced in everyday life. Basing on the study of materials from the Unified State Register of judgments some cases involving participants in educational relations were analyzed, as well as examples of real cases that have become the subject of a court, supplemented by an analysis of legislation on issues of concern.
