Ðroject «Ukrainian Students’ Academic Culture: The Main Factors of Formation and Development»

NGO East-Foundation for Social Research have been awarded a grant of the International Fund "Renaissance" for the implementation of the research project «Ukrainian Students’ Academic Culture: The Main Factors of Formation and Development» for year 2013.
The project will be realized in cooperation with the Foundation's partner – Social and Humanitarian Research Institute of the V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
The aim of the project is the study of actual situation and factors determining the academic culture of student’s studying, to develop possible ways of increasing its level in Ukrainian universities.
Within the framework of the project it is expected to conduct national survey of tutors and students of Ukrainian universities and a number focused group interviews to study the state of academic culture of Ukrainian students. After the study it is expected to organize the final roundtable with students, tutors, representatives of the university administration, student government representatives, authorities in education area, etc.
